ABOUT
TITHING
Every Sunday Harmony attendees have the PRIVILEDGE of giving back
to the Lord what he has blessed us with. It is traditionally understood
that a typical tithe consists of 10% of an individual's income/gain/profit.
We believe that the amount you give is between you and the Lord
but that 10% is only a small token of our appreciation for what
He has so richly blessed us with. The fact is we are called to
tithe of our profit even if we're not at a place where we can
comfortably do 10%. The Bible doesn't really leave too many loop-holes
when it comes to this matter. So, if you are not tithing to a
church or have mixed/negative feelings about the whole issue please
search the scriptures, pray and consult your pastor or respected
elder.
THE
JOY BOX
The JOY BOX is where Harmony puts their tithes and offerings each
sunday. We don't pass a plate. We don't go on and on about how
"God will bless you" or anything like that. It's simply
up to you. The JOY BOX is there for you to quickly and discreetly
drop your tithes and offerings into without making a big fuss
about it or drawing attention to wether you gave or not on a particular
sunday.
Pastor
Garth Heckman is currently the only "full-time" paid
personell on staff at Harmony. Harmony also has a number of
other volunteers on staff that are essential to making Harmony
function and we hope to add them to the full-time payroll as
soon as possible.
Harmony's
current weekly operational budget is typically between $2,200
and $3,000.

of Christian Assemblies and located in Lakeville, Minnesota.
Harmony
