It has been planned, it has been ordained, it has been set in the heavens by the God himself…. Wow, ok maybe that is to strong! But the Hi Def youth retreat has been planned and it will take place November 29th and 30th. That is a Thursday and Friday and Saturday at the beautiful Holiday inn in St. Cloud. Swimming, sauna, Jacuzzi, accommodations in a suite with your closest 15 friends all in the same suite! (guys in guys and girls in girls) Food, Fun and FAITH! It will rock your world and roll your future! Prices will be extremely reasonable and more details coming!

Yep, the most important people in our church need helpers to love, serve and teach. If you would like to help out in this ministry, please see Pastor Garth!

Offering – “Show me the Money”…God
Trust me this aint easy… I hate talking about money, but God has been whacking me over the head with a few thoughts… here they are:

-He has told me lately that as the Pastor I am to lead – so go lead! He has given me the proverbial kick in the spiritual pants. He has told me not to worry about what people think but only rather what he thinks and what his word says.

-People don’t always know that tithing is scriptural and expected by God

-We are a high expectation church. We serve a high expectation God. He not only needs our money, but our time, gifts and abilities-He wants you blessed. It is a sure way of experiencing God’s blessing in other areas of your life

-It is the way in which we put our money where our mouth is. Is he number one in all areas?

-It is a great example to our kids and to our friends and family that WE LIVE IT

-This is how we live out the Vision of Harmony. i.e. staff salaries, outreach, mission opportunities, budget for kids and youth ministries.

-It is the number one way to build your faith. If you can trust God with your Money then you can trust him with just about anything else.

WHY YOU SHOULD BE TITHING

• It is a Bible doctrine with continuity in the Scriptures, before, during, and after Moses’ Law.

• The tithe is not mine to withhold; it belongs to the Lord (Leviticus 27:30).

• Tithing is an indicator of faithfulness to God (2 Chronicles 31:12).

• Tithing is an indicator of our generosity (2 Chronicles 31:5). And “A generous man will himself be blessed” (Prov. 22:9).

• Tithing allows God-called ministers to devote themselves fully to the Lord’s work (Numbers 18:21; 1 Corin. 9:13f).

• I don’t want God to consider me a robber (Malachi 3:8).

• God wants His “house”, the church, to be abundantly supplied (Malachi 3:10 with 1 Timothy 3:15).

• God says if we are faithful in tithes & offerings, He will open the windows of heaven and pour out abundant blessings (Malachi 3:10-12; also Proverbs 3:10).

• We are honoring the Lord when we give to Him (Prov. 3:9).

• There is a bible principle of sowing and reaping (2 Corin. 9:6). As we sow generously, we shall reap generously, both naturally and spiritually.

• Luke 12:34 For where your treasure is, there your HEART will be also.

May both our treasures (tithes and offerings) and our hearts be in the Lord’s church a nd the kingdom of God.
