How
to Find Balance
Did you know that we keep our balance through 3 Key things? The
ability to maintain balance depends on information that the brain
receives from these three different sources: the eyes, the muscles
and joints, and the vestibular organs in the inner ears. Now I
am no Doctor but I do know that without all three of these working
in your body you balance will be affected dramatically! Our Lives
are the same way! How do we find Balance in our work, home, family,
hobbies, finances and other areas of our life? This Sunday come
and hear what God's word has to say about it!
Nursery and Children's Church
This Sunday we have new hours for Nursery and Children's Church.
Nursery will be open from the start of service at 10am. Children's
Church will be immediately after worship. Parents you may drop
your kids off during our time of Harmonizing. Nursery is for ages
0-3. Children's Church is ages 4-11.
What Does Pastor Garth Make?
Great Question! In the next few weeks you will hear Pastor Garth
speak of the vision for Harmony, and the immediate budget needs.
Pastor Garth is looking forward to sharing openly the needs of
Harmony from staff salaries to the outreach needs of the church.
So if you really want to know what he makes, make sure you keep
coming over the next few weeks!
Do you like Gifts?
Everyone loves gifts! The good news is we all have gifts to give.
And we lose the ability to grow in God and be used by him to our
fullest ability! So what are your gifts? Talents? Passions? Did
you know God wants to use all three of these to impact people,
the public and the planet!
Fall is the Time to REAP
(John 4:34-38)
34) Then Jesus explained: "My nourishment comes from doing
the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work. 35)
Do you think the work of harvesting will not begin until the summer
ends four months from now? Look around you! Vast fields are ripening
all around us and are ready now for the harvest. 36) The harvesters
are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought
to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester
alike! 37) You know the saying, 'One person plants and someone
else harvests.‚' And it's true. 38) I sent you to harvest
where you didn't plant; others had already done the work, and
you will gather the harvest."
Who
does God want you to be a witness to? Who does God want you to
share his love with? Who does God want you to invite to Harmony?
The harvest is ripe, and fall is the time to reap! I encourage
you to step out in faith and make God laugh!
