Sunday New Location
This Sunday Harmony will still be at McGuire Middle School, but
we will be in a different room due to a teachers fair and student
registration in the cafeteria. It is just for this week and then
we continue to meet back in the cafeteria. Just look for the greeters
and the signs. FYI
How to Eat an Elephant
This Sunday the sermon tackles the seemingly impossible task of
being a conqueror in Christ. How many times have you felt like
a failure and not a conqueror; if you're like me, too many! Come
and find out how to do the impossible one step at a time!
Just an Idea
The Fall is coming and everyone has an idea: Some we are considering
are Gospel Choir, Children‚ church, more small groups, Gifting
class, Married couples retreat, Wednesday night youth service.
What are the ideas you have? We would like to hear them. And we
would love to know what you want to get involved in. WE WANT TO
KNOW!
Fall is the Time to REAP
John 4:34-38
34) Then Jesus explained: "My nourishment comes from doing
the will of God, who sent me, and from finishing his work. 35
Do you think the work of harvesting will not begin until the summer
ends four months from now? Look around you! Vast fields are ripening
all around us and are ready now for the harvest. 36) The harvesters
are paid good wages, and the fruit they harvest is people brought
to eternal life. What joy awaits both the planter and the harvester
alike! 37) You know the saying, 'One person plants and someone
else harvests.‚' And it's true. 38) I sent you to harvest
where you didn't plant; others had already done the work, and
you will gather the harvest."
Who does God want you to be a witness to? Who does God want you
to share his love with? Who does God want you to invite to Harmony?
The harvest is ripe, and fall is the time to reap! I encourage
you to step out in faith and make God laugh!
